Those were tests done on different days. Not appples to apples comparison. ZL1 will hang in there though.

agree 100% .. but at $120,000 for the ZR1 (before dealer markup), you are inching towards super car prices

And they also said in the video that this was the first lap and they only got to do one lap with the GT. They said normally they'd do 3 and see times improve.

And like everyone else is saying, with that much development, with that much track-specific engineering and lack of every-day drive-ability, and that price, it damn well better beat the ZL1-1LE.

If the ZR-1 even gets close, within a second, THAT will be something...

Ehhh...2.7 seconds is a buttkicking, lol!! But that is the only Ford that can do it! I'm not sure if the ZR1 will beat it but I'll be looking forward to the results.

I am pretty sure the ZR1 will be faster in the 1 lap game. Very sure.

I believe they said they did it in one day, but usually do the LL over 3 days.

Three seconds might as well be 12 parsecs. I would consider three tenths of a second to be narrow. Nevertheless the Camaro is a world beater at it's price point.
