I'd be very curious to see how it sold compared to the SRX over its last few years in production.

Here's hoping the XT3 looks good. I like those wheels.

Agreed 100% Seeing the XT5 on the road I am just meh. Nothing about it screams special to me.

By 'old' do you mean the 1st gen 'CTS-pretending-to-be-an-SUV' version, or the recently retired 2nd gen?

So this was obviously written by a Corvette fanboy, but it does bring up some interesting points about the Ford supercar...

That's crazy that you have to give Ford first dibs on buying your GT if you want to sell it. Didn't know it was built in Canada either.

I thought that was common knowledge about the new GT? Along with very expensive, very rare, and powered by an EcoBoast V6.

Its not like they were trying to keep it a secret. Ford announced it about a month after the 'concept' was shown 2 years ago.

What isn't as well known is that its the same folks that did/do the DSSV shock absorbers for the Z/28 & ZR2 -Multimatic. And whats even less well known is that the Ford GT does not use those DSSV shocks.

Now, Ford getting the first crack at buying the car ... that was something I did not know until I read that article. Wonder if they plan on destroying them to avoid providing long term support, like GM did with the EV1. I doubt it, because if you're going to do that just lease them instead of selling. That way, you are practically guaranteed to get the car back within a couple years. But I can't think of another reason why they would want first dibs on them.

New Cadillac ads.

Confirms Escala's design language will carry over to future Cadillacs.

SuperCruise this year.

That Escala is just gorgeous. Bring it on.

But how many people are going to see this commercial. Then inquire about it, only to find out its just a concept?

GM will be more than happy to tell them they need to wait for a future Cadillac sedan to get the design.

That being said, a lot of outlets are using their X-ray googles on the XT3 spy photos from a few days ago and everyone's thinking it'll be the first production application of Escala's design language.
