Very much different differ trans clutch axles differential etc..

V8 has a TR6060 with 3.73 .. something like that Differential with cooling for it etc. V6 manual has a TR31606 with 3.23 I believe sorry all the numbers are just recollection didnt feel like looking it up

As for power loss I couldnt tell you even on a high dyno stock lets say 270 You would be right at 20% loss... The V8 is on par with around 15%..

I am trying to figure out if a 8l45 to 8l90 swap is possible and trying to hunt down 3.23 LSD carrier.
