$3.60 for premium today, minus 20 cents per gallon because I use my store card discount... so $3.40/gal

$3.24/gal for regular unleaded (minus 20 cents a gallon if using the store card discount)... so $3.04

I just filled up today, in sunny Los Angeles, for 4.33 for premium. I find it funny when people complain about 3.80 being pricy

Here in Niagara Falls gas is at 1.399 per litre, so that would be around 5.29 per gallon. And that's the lowest grade.

The conflicts in the Middle East really have no bearing on our gas prices. Its just an excuse. We are exporting oil (and natural gas) more now than ever becasue we have reached our refining capacities and it commands higher prices overseas. A new refinery hasnt been built in the US for almost twenty years. If they would invest in more refineries then prices could go down. Don't want that. When it reaches five dollars a gallon we will still pay. Got to have it to drive, right? Big corporations just get richer for no reason other than greed and normal people get poorer.
It really doesn't matter which political party is in power either. They are all pretty much the same except the name. Corporations and lobbyist control them too.

Rant off

Current petrol price in the UK is around $8.50 a gallon for 87. Being a Brit in the US driving a Camaro, I giggle every time I fill up!
