Chevy Cat Back Exhaust Upgrade
Hi all,
I have a '24 1SS (no NPP exhaust). Wondering what you guys think of the Chevy Cat Back Exhaust Upgrade - part # 84578423. I'm looking for something just a LITTLE louder with a 'throaty' sound. Anybody hear this one? Thanks! |

Long hauler

It's a little quieter than a Borla S Type, mainly due to it being the same thing as a Borla S Type since Borla was contracted to make them for Chevy

AWE Touring edition or Borla S type.
AWE Touring is going to be louder than the S type, with a more aggressive bark, but a wonderful deep rumble. Its my favorite sound for the SS. The Borla S is less dramatic, some say the volume isn't any noticeably louder, some say its slightly louder, but it gives a nice deep rumble as well. Also just a heads up, if you have an automatic, you will either want an axle back instead, or need to get the AFM valve simulators from AWE. If you have a manual, this doesnt apply to you. Also add on, the catback AWE has some optional resonators you can add that will make the Touring even quieter if its too loud for you. https://youtu.be/VNR-KKLwjpg
