I don't know whatever happened with this, but I had read somewhere people putting bigger centrifugal blowers on cars and overdriving the blower to get boost to come in earlier and then controlling boost on the top end with a blowoff valve.

For street driving you get into the boost a little earlier making the car more lively, and at the top end that you will only use occasionally, the excess boost is bled off and kept in check.
Not something you would do with a drag car, but for only short bursts, dumping the boost at the top end/high rpm doesn't seem like it's that bad.

Like I said, I don't know whatever happened but it seemed like a decent idea as a centrifugal can be a little lazy driving around town before boost while still spinning a supercharger.

Yeah I was talking rwhp. The exhaust I know isn't much, it is more for the sound. Mine is not a npp car so single tips. As far as budget goes I am looking at around the 20k range overall.

Mine was built by Jannetty Racing, you can see the main components in my signature.

The Maggie 2300 would obviously be replaced by the 2650 in a new build, and yes, it's a PD, not a centrifugal.

I'm not opposed to a pd 2650 they are about the price range, what would the benefit of it be over a centrifical?

It's mostly a matter of taste. Centrifugal superchargers build boost/torque continuously whereas on PDs boost/torque kicks in very strong very early and increases much less throughout the rev range, up to the point where torque starts to fall off and boost peaks.

There are subtle differences in economy, heat management, sound etc., but I think the biggest difference is in the way these units generate power across the rev range.

I think that you got the wrong impression. IMO the fact that you installed your kit with the manufacturer's canned tune was the main source of the, again IMO, underwhelming performance that you had received on your initial install. Same exact thing happened with a Magnuson 2300 that I saw when it was also using the manufacturer's canned tune. Performance was underwhelming IMO, and it was not the fault of the blower itself. Any of the supercharger kits for the SS, both centrifugal and PD-style, are capable of making decent power IF the tune allows it.

It feels MUCH faster after the port inj and pulley down. Very happy with things right now. Cant wait to make a pass at the track and see if my SOTP estimate matches reality. Im feeling like low 10s are possible.
