Same thing, my level hasn't changed after multiple track days and spirited back road runs.

Nice, I ended up finally installing my Ultra can in the front a month or so ago... No issues!

Did a little overview video of it (and the reservoir) @

Level went down again

Main Coolant level and expansion tank did not change..

Ordered a new cap, question is.. Where is the coolant going?

The main coolant and expansion tank is the engine coolant. Which is separate from the supercharger coolant system.

The car could just have a lot of air in the line. As long as the reservoir is getting the air out then just keep filling it up. At least you don't have to take it to a dealer or shop to get them to bleed it out, every time

So just to confirm products like the Big 3 Racing expansion tank is strictly for the supercharger coolant, correct?

https://www.tickperformance.com/big-...art-b3r-zl1-b/

I got a bit confused after reading this post.

I call the supercharger coolant reservoir the reservoir....I think some people/companies call it an expansion tank. But to me, it's a reservoir.

I took the previous comment as the main coolant tank (the 2 separate tanks on the passenger side) as what was being talked about.

That is why I was saying that the supercharger coolant and engine coolant are separate systems.

The one you listed is the supercharger coolant, not the engine coolant. Honestly I don't see why you'd want to pay that much for that reservoir. But if you want to then go ahead.

Gotcha, thanks. I have some more reading to do to catch up.

Yeah, initially I saw it for around 2-3 bucks. I just grabbed the first link I could grab. I'd def not pay that price for something like that.

EDIT:
Holy crap, I'm not sure what I was looking at but those Big 3 Racing expansion tank really are 600 bucks...wtf! lol

If the shop did that, I'd take it back and have them double check everything. Glad you found the issue.

Finally installed.

For those with concerns about another way to install a catch can, here you have a pic showing mine: hooked without problems to the CAI, no vibrations, no risk of hitting the hood and enough place to empty it.

Not happy with fan install.

You would think a company could make the reservoir a little nicer looking to go in that location or at least a Carbon fiber cover.

You'd think that GM would have put one in from the factory then we would have to go out and buy one.

According to EU laws cooling fluid must be transparent. You have your CA stupid laws, we too.
