How long will a garage kept SS last putting about 5-10k miles a year on it?
Before you need to do major work?

I have a 2010 with about 65,000 miles and it's garage kept.
It hasn't had any failures related to age or mileage. No leaks, and belts and hoses look to be in excellent condition. I also don't drive it when there's salt on the roads. |

I don't take my ZL1 out when it rains. It should last a very long time. About the only thing could happen is rotting rubber parts.

It depends on where you are. Are you near the coast, do you have salt air? If not, figure 10 to 15 years before you see any rubber parts starting to oxidize, much shorter if you're on the coast/beach..... if you could put the car inside in a air conditioned space like the Ferris Bueller Ferrari, it would last longer than you'll live… This is assuming that you also do all the normal maintenance on time, in the correct manner.

I've had mine just over 2 years, I have right around 4100 miles on it. Store it from October till about the end of March with a cover/battery tender on it. I'm hoping mine will last to give to my kids.

As long as you keep it maintained should 50+ years. My father in-law still has his 69 Z/28 he purchased in 1969 garage kept puts around he has just over 60k on the factory motor, factory clutch, factory everything.

The less you drive it the harder it actually is on some of the components, especially if you have lots of short trips where the car barely gets warmed up before you shut it off again like I do. My bad weather car is a 2011 Malibu with 45k miles on it (I drive about 5k total between it and the Camaro) and I just had to replace the water pump and a coolant hose because they were both leaking due to age, not mileage. The dealer was telling me if I put more miles on it or drove it more when I had it on the road the water pump probably would have lived longer. That's the first thing I've had to do to that car besides tires and oil in the 7 years I've had it though so all in all not a bad deal.

As long as the garage is ventilated and the humidity is not too high ~60% it will never rost. Keep it away from the UV (direct sun light) and keep the rubber soft it will last more or less forever. If you drive it, drive it warm and longer distance.

It's hard to say. Others have valid points regarding climate and maintenance. However, there are electrical and mechanical parts on the car, which can go bad at any time, even with proper maintenance. Do a search for rear differential groan, as one example.
