Feeback on my 1LE order & options

Update as of 7/13:
Order placed, workbench order # received.

Original message:

Hi all,

Fingers crossed, I should be getting an order in on a MY24 1LE in a few days.. Wanted to get feedback on my build / options, and please let me know if there are any must haves missing and / or any that are known constraints and will likely delay the order from being built.

- 2SS 6MT (want the ventilated seats, BSM, rear view mirror camera to maximize visibility)
- 1LE
- Riverside Blue (originally wanted shadow grey, however learned that it's been discontinued for MY24)
- Black interior
- Red seatbelts (is this a constrained item? def not a deal breaker for me, more of a nice to have)

Most obvious item missing is PDR - I really don't think i'll use it , and have read a lot about issues with orders being fulfilled due to constraints with it.. Also debating black lug nuts, but also just don't want to tempt fate with constrained items that are not worth it..

Thanks in advance!

2SS1LE is probably #2 on the constraint list behind the ZLE for well over a year, and think it currently still is. A 1SS1LE may be more slightly more available.

I love my 2SS 1LE for the same reasons.

I agree with your choices, except for the Riverside Blue (I'm a bit biased for red!)

The rear-view roof cam provides a big benefit when driving on multi-lane roads and keeping track of traffic in neighboring lanes.

The big question is whether proper pads exist in that size or if it's a custom "copper-free special". Hopefully it's the former, say, a Cadillac sedan has the same brake system dimensions, but I haven't researched it.

Other than possible constraint issue mentioned on 2SS, I think you have the perfect build. Checking the 1LE box adds a ton of goodies. Color selection is usually the toughest part. Conversely, if you want something to mind ffff over, riptide looks sweeeeet since you like blue. Congrats!

I kinda like the foreword collision alert. Although today it kinda scared me thinking an overpass was a brick wall lol. I would recommend BCD brakes. They are rated for a future supercharger upgrade and I wasn’t charged by GM.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Unfortunate to learn about the 2ss constraint, I will see whay my dealership says about the chances.. If I can't get one ordered I would rather find a 2SS incoming or on the lot.

Regarding the copper free brakes, great to know! Seems like it's a zero cost option too, I might add it to my build.

Who told you 2SS is on constraint for 2024?
