Low throttle jerkiness A8

Hey guys, taking my carto dealer for alarm issues, rattling glove box, overfilled engine oil, and wanted to know if jerkiness from gears 1-3 on the A8 transmission is normal, i dont remember the trasmission being so choppy. Its no longer smooth, infact, with low throttle from a stand still, it almost seems like the car was going to stall from first to second gear. Im hoping this isnt normal as ive never experienced such jerky torque converter automatic. Inputs? Its even jerkier in sportmode

I had this same issue a while back, had my dealer reprogram the TCM and ECM, night and day difference, has been working great since then.

Yeah, they also said they could not replicate the glove box rattle... I drove it rattling all the way home.

Should I just attempt a DIY with felt, rubber, or foam padding?

I wouldn't, you have a warranty and that is what the dealer is supposed to do, honor that warranty and fix the issues covered...Let them fix it, or take it somewhere else. I have the same issues with my dealer sometimes too, My Cadillac SRX has been having some issues, they always say that they can't replicate it or fix something else, I keep bringing it back.

Some people need to drive their cars. If a fix is easy, i'd rather do it myself than keep being out of a car day after day. Plus, if they can't do it right the first time, why would I trust them to do it right the second, third etc?
