My new 22" Lexani Wheels

I love 22's on the Gen 6. Because of the high beltline they don't overpower the look and the chopped top roofline looks even more dramatic - just my opinion of course! 1.5" drop springs helps visually too I think.

I opened this expecting to hate it and I don’t at all. I like the stripes as well.

A little too big for my taste but looks pretty good. Brakes looks small now though. :-)

How heavy are they? Any rubbing?

Kinda torn, but I like it.

Yep, I can never get over how goofy big rims look with tiny discs behind them. Worst of course is huge alloy wheels with tiny drum-brakes in the middle. I don't get why someone would sacrifice that much function (wheels that are harder to accelerate/turn, etc).

Actually I've got the 50th Anniversary stripes/mat black hood and trunk graphics like that on the factory grey car but in red, not orange.

Because functions like track or drag racing and ultra high performance driving are not my main reasons for owning this car. Styling, looks and exhaust sound are what I like. It's a garage Queen that gets about 2,000 miles a year driving. Different strokes for sure, but at 77 I don't trust myself doing high speed stuff anymore!

Yes most will hate it for sure. But mostly because 19's or 20's are better for the track or drag strip. But I don't race or drive aggressively - just love the look and the sound of this SS.
