Generally what happens is a racetrack opens in the middle of nowhere and all is good. the area starts to be developed as people build businesses near the racetrack to gain customers. soon homes are built near the racetrack.
this is where it gets messed up; in a classic move the people who knowingly moved next to a racetrack soon complain that its too loud, then sue the racetrack to put in sound ordanances. WTF???

this is one instance. I could not find anything official on LS.

That's crazy, but you can legally drive down the street in the car. Reminds me of people that build houses around airports and are then surprised there are airplanes flying around.

Luckily it was a 105 db day.

Did you get a ZL1 1LE? If so, congrats! Will you be getting laguna pipes for it?

The point is all of the crotchety old rich people that live on the hills around the track don't want to hear racecars when they are sitting on their patios sipping their $1000 wine lol

Source: I was stationed out in Monterrey for a year and a half, and trust me the rich people think they own the place

That's really good to hear the impressions of the NT01s.

Any comparisons in lap times?

Nice video, thanks for posting. You passed alot of expensive cars. Alot of those drivers are probably searching autotrader for a zl1-1le right about now.

Thanks guys. I need to go back to the Goodyear Supercar 3R's and get proper track pads so I can brake later. Should be good for a few more seconds.

That's our contention as well. We can drive down their street at full wail but can't on the track. It doesn't help that the key players pushing these absurd sound ordinances are wealthy attorneys.

Unfortunately no lap time comparisons yet. I do intend to go back to the Goodyears though and will have a comparison then.

Based on a few posts, the 19 inch 315/325 combo should work well on a ZL1 1LE. I have not tried it first hand but probably will eventually. Saw this combo at Laguna on a non 1LE ZL1 on custom wheels and he didn't report any problems. In fact his lap times were in the high 1:35-1:36 range. Hope this helps.
