We won't be doing fuel until I put some more miles on it. Prob after thanksgiving. I need to fix this problem first, then get some seat time. If you don't want me to buy yours, can you post a link on what I need and where to purchase from? Thanks!!

I also like their slip over fitting rather than ball and socket. |

Get my new headers installed tomorrow and install the TM TB. I'll post up numbers and scan dyno sheet. I haven't scanned the dyno runs as I'm not really done building. But, I'll post up tomorrow night or on Thanksgiving as these will be my last mods before I do fuel. Then, I'm gonna wait for my wheels to come in, get those on, then lower with my BMR springs. Then push for 900 come 2018. Anyhow, whatever. That's down the road. I say I'll hit 670/631 tomorrow.

I need to give some props to a few people. Make a long story short, ya'll have seen the pics. Well, Kooks didn't have a 1 7/8 header available and I didn't want to wait for them to make me one, so I told Matt to just put on my stock one's and we'll deal with it later. Matt called Phastek, who had one in stock. Matt drove across town, picked the headers up, drove back here, got my car, and it's presently getting the new headers on with the TM TB and another tune.
Just fyi. The steering shaft. In the pic I posted where it looked damaged. Well, that's just a plastic sleeve. The shaft itself wasn't damaged. So, I was getting a bit frustrated, but Matt made it happen and thanks to Phastek for holding that set of headers for us. I should know numbers here within a few hours. I'm gonna guess 668/652. It's prob gonna be higher due to air temps being in the 50's. If Matt gets me over 670, I'm gonna be hella pleased. We'll see!! I was already at 649 on hot pulls with shitty air temps so. I think with a cold run, temps in the 50's, low humidity, and the TB added, I don't see why we won't hit the 670 mark. I'm leaning more towards 680ish the more I think about it. I think we'll pick up 10 more just on air temps alone, 10 more with the TM TB, if not more. That's 20 right there. So, that brings it up to 670. I do wish to see my torque numbers up. 610lbs was my last pull. Would like to see them up closer to 640, 650. If Matt pulls a 700 hp run out his ass, I'm gonna have to throw him some more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Is there something wrong with the kooks 2 inch header fitting or is it installation error?

664/683. Not bad. I'll take it. We have more tuning to do, so next week or the week after we are going to have the over lay chart starting from baseline. Matt is reprogramming his Dyno next week, so he wants to give it another try. Car pulls hard. All engine noises are gone and I can finally hear my blower!!!!! I have whine again. Woo hoo.
Upper/lower pulley. Kooks headers/Roto Fab/Corsa Exhaust. Tony Mamo TB. So from my last pull, 649/601. I gained 15 hp and 82lbs of torque. Not bad. Was hoping for more, but it is what it is. I'll take the torque gain as I wasn't expecting that much of a jump. This is on a Mustang Dyno btw for those curious. Now, I'm going to enjoy the car as it only has a few hundred miles on it. Get used to it and its capabilities, then continue the build.

Very solid numbers... Any idea what the boost was?
The headers will lose some, but the pulleys should more than make up for it. |
