My rotofab and port tb baseline 2 weeks ago was over580 with no tuning. Just a baseline.

The 50 degree cold front probably helped that number lol. But my end result in the now humid texas air with the car being a little hot was 738, needless to say I’m happy. I was told it’s safe. And it runs HARD.

I guess what I’m getting as it **** numbers just go have fun lol I giggle everytime I drive mine now

He said the humidity kills forced induction cars. I'm going back to re-tune once I get my Tony Mamo TB in, so that should help and hopefully better air.

I will say this. I have a 780 hp Z06 right now at the wheels, which I've owned for 2 years now so I'm used to it. I have 200 miles on the Zl1, so I'm getting used to the delivery, but Matt made the mid range come on like a fkn power band. The Z06 seems linear. Power all the way. The Zl1 seems to come on towards lower-mid range and just freaking pulls like a monster. The 305's honestly ain't gonna cut it. haha. I can already tell. Gonna need 315's or 335's. I'm not sure if 335's will fit, but if they do, that's where I'm going.

Anyhow, put out 604 hp and 576 torque. Was hoping to hit the 620ish range, but eh. I'll take it. It's a start. the TM TB should get me there with a re-tune and better air for sure.

Your totally missing the point....how did the car feel afterwards???

Seems to me like:

Intake: 25 rwhp
Intake, Pulley, Tune: 50 rwhp

Not sure the pulley is worth the hassle?

Yea, who knows which part contributed to what. I'm happy with it so far. Pulls crazy hard right now.

I think 750 hp in this car is going to feel way different than the 780 hp I have in my Z06. I'm 176 hp short on the Camaro right now and it doesn't feel that far short of the Z06.

But, then again, haven't done any hard pulls over 100 yet so. In a few days, I'll be able to see how hard it pulls all the way up to 160. But, so far, it's responding nicely.

so Why didnt you do the lower pulley at the same time or instead of the upper? youre gonna have to do it eventually regardless of which blower you use. my car with 18% lower, 2" headers and rotofab made 653/664 to the wheels through the A10 and backed up by a totally different dyno this weekend at 651/659.

budget. I spent close to $10k on wheels. Or I would of had everything done already. So, I had to go with best bang for buck to start.

Closer to Xmas, I should be doing the rest. Lower, fuel, cam, headers, then calling it a day.

Incorrect. My car is on 93 octane. I posted all the dyno results and build a few weeks ago.

Ah see I saved the 4K by going strasse and used it on the lower. You must’ve gotten s carbon fiber wheels cause That’s what I priced first 🤔 I cannot wait to see your new ones bro!

Yea, I didn't go with Strasse as they wanted $10k for those wheels to start. There was no savings there. I wanted that carbon set so bad. As mentioned, I went with another brand and got the owner to do my set at cost on the CF. So, I paid cost for the carbon work, but still had to pay $5000 for the wheels. So, got the wheels for $8600 shipped. The free shipping saved me another $400 too so. It was hard to swallow that for wheels, but I said fk it. If I want the sickest looking Zl1, I'm going to have to go carbon wheels.

The downfall is. If I curb check or damage any part of that wheel, I'm looking at $1000 just to fix it and that's even if it's fixable. And a turn around time of 5 weeks too so. You can't just send it to a wheel shop and say, here, fix the wheel.

Yea, I can't wait either. haha. But, I'm going to have to so. In the meantime, I went ahead and ordered the Kooks headers and will put those on when the Tony Mamo TB comes in. Then I'll re-tune it again.

Said screw it. Ordered my Kooks LTH and Lower Pulley. Cold front blew through, so going to install and re-tune next week. I'm curious to see what my baseline is now compared to where I ended up last week. I bet you I pick up 10 more hp on just cooler air temps alone. If not more. Anyhow, Tony!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get my throttle body mailed out dude!! haha.

Then you got one special zl1 becasue the rest of the nation with your mods are out of fuel on 93 and e85 at 610 to 620 rwhp mainly because the small blower created so much heat meth has to be added..

So u got 34 more hp than the nation.. u have a vegas dyno or it was sub zero with octane booster in tank.. or its correction factor is way off.

Just got my catted Hooks LTH and lower pulley installed an re-tuned. 649/610. I do have a question regarding the headers as this is my first ever set I've put on. I've obviously noticed how much louder the inside of my car is, but I hear alot more engine noise and def more clicks and clacks. Please tell me that's not normal. haha. I can't even hear my blower anymore over the exhaust, which is fine. It seems headers loudens it up quite a bit, but the motor noise I hear is kind of annoying. Or, is something not installed properly? Or, is that something that those Kooks headers do. Create more engine noise. At idle, it's quiet and I can hear the blower spinning. Under load tho, jeezus. I hear all kinds of clicks and clacks.

I got my appt tomorrow for my 2nd coat of Ceramic at noon man. Or I would. And thanks for the input. I ordered a 'blockit' sound deadening kit for the trunk cus holy crap, it sounds so mean. I have no drone, but those headers sure do wake up that Corsa.

I might be down to meet at Rudy's or Willey's. Where is Classic Chevy? Well, if it's at 430, I should be able to make that actually.

I should be putting down 670 once my Tony Mamo TB comes in next week. Gonna be 50 degrees. Perfect dyno weather. haha.
