Anybody painting their LT4 supercharger cover?

Anybody has plans to paint their LT4 supercharger cover? Or has done so already? I noticed this in saabkyle04 video that the prototype had a red lettering on the supercharger cover. Thought this was a nice touch.

I've thought about having mine painted.

RPI Designs sells a painted supercharger lid for the C7 Z06. I'm hoping they will offer the same for the ZL1.

I am interested in this as well, however, in videos and photos of the red test car...I don't think it has red lettering. It is polished like all of the stock LT4s and is reflecting red off of the red underside of the hood. My personal Red hot ZL1 does this as well every time I open the hood, the lettering looks red, but it's not...it's just a reflection...still cool though. I was going to paint my red, but maybe I don't have to anymore...lol

The only colored one I saw was white w/black lettering @ SEMA one time on a Z06. Not sure how they did it, but it looked clean...factory clean

Here's the link to the RPI product:

https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=5555

They offer an assortment of color options for the lid and lettering.

The 2017 lid which is essentially the ZL1 lid with Corvette lettering is an additional $214. Yikes!

Wow. Thanks for posting that. That looks awesome. Initially I was just thinking if people might paint the lettering. After seeing this, why not do the whole lid. That will sure make anybody's engine bay look unique and attractive. Lots of customization options too. Definitely one of my first mods. I know its pricey, but definitely admire quality of a product.

Excellent work chrisvr6. The more I look at your pics, the more I want to have this done once I get my car. It makes the engine bay look soo much better. Thanks again for you work.

You can never have to much red, but not red wheels...
