Headers and upper pulley

Just picked her up with 1 7/8" ARH, upper pulley, tune, and a couple other goodies (including a built/fabricated in house expansion tank). Baseline was 551/578 with TM throttle body and K&N intake. Bumped up to 602/650. Kept stock muffler. Perfectly raspy and loud under throttle. And skip shift deleted out with tune. Big time thanks to Joe Cordes at Cordes Performance Racing in Tempe, AZ.

great numbers!!!! why is your graph that jagged and that dip at 4k seems rough?

Boost was 11-12 psi at peak.

The drop-off is from our sub standard desert 91 octane so they had to pull the timing. The bounce in the data is from some tire bounce on the dyno. They could have smoothed the data out but the numbers start to get skewed. I certainly have not felt any drop off above 4k rpms but sure sounds like it's the loudest thing on the road at 3K plus (helps to be in a convertible also!)

I'm very excited as i want to start off with with headers and upper pulley to go wit my rotofab and TM TB, with 93 octane I'm guessing a few more ponies are available so I'm game!!

Thats exactly what id like to do. It looks great! Im curious as to why so many people leave the stock muffler? Is there a benefit? Or just unnecessary?

I have done pretty much the same mods except i did lower pulley and no cats. It was a mail order tune from vengeance so no dyno but wow what a difference. I've had alot of fast street cars and anything much over 650 at wheels gets pretty crazy. My fox body mustang makes 950 at tires and that much on street is just nuts. I am considering the wipple for the z but it runs so good now its a tough choice.

I kept the stock muffler to keep the valves and the stock exhaust tips.
