My TF4 BumbleBee Camaro "refresh". Give me your thoughts as a 6th gen?

So I see doc having all kinds of "fun" trying to come up with a 6th gen redesign.

As for me, I wanted to try my hand at the Camaro in the new Transformers 4 movie. I originally hated it. But after seeing new photos of it, I actually kind of liked it, and saw potential.

I can actually see something like this as a gen 6 car. This would fall heavily into the evolutionary category, as opposed to revolutionary. But from this view the car does look smaller to me, so I feel they could put this on Alpha platform, and lose the weight while keeping the muscle.

I'm no photoshop expert, so I can't do everything I'd like to see. If I could, I think there is more work to the sides and rear shoulders I'd do to make it look less 5th gen, but still keep the classic Camaro traits. I mainly wanted to take care of some things that were my main gripes with this car, so here is what I did.

1) I made the upper grill and headlight area bigger horizontally.

2) Changed the wheels to aluminum 10 spoke ZL1 wheels.

3) Removed the orange raised letters from the tires.

4) Brought the body paint colors lower on the body and just left the bottom edge black like the current ZL1 rockers.

5) Made the gaping mouth on the front much smaller.

6) Gave it fog lamp housings which are very similar to the "Leno" Camaro concept.

There may be more but I think that just about covers it. See the before and after shots below.

So what do you guys think?? Like it? Hate it? Would you drive it? I certainly would. I know its pretty similar to the 2014 refresh....but I actually like this lol (my apologies!) I think the headlight design and the vertical fogs really spice it up. Answer my poll above also please!

Now this I dig! Very nice! It still looks very Gen 5, but even if I could get that front end on my car I'd order it today. Really liking the wing spoiler and the rear fender air scoops. You did this? It's very good. Thanks for sharing. PS- that hood is bad ass too!

This is a better BumbleBee than the one they came up with! Good job!

I'm not thrilled about it. Perhaps this is part of GM's plan. They make Bumblebee ugly and terrify all of us that the gaping mouth on that Camaro swallows all hope of a better looking 6thgen, and then they follow up with anything—I mean anything—so that it looks both revolutionary and attractive.

To me it's pretty good photo shop and for the better. Could you do that with the refresh taillights? Like what aftermarket covers can do to better the look.

Appreciate the comments guys. Hopefully GM is watching these kinds of threads, and the opinions are getting back to them....which is mostly the reason I added the poll.

No problem! Like I said in the first post, my photoshop skills are just a hair above basic....maybe? So even though I'd like to do some other differences including the rear fenders/shoulders....I don't think I can do it.

Thanks! I don't think I want to take on the 2014 tail lights. I'll just leave em be

Meh. It's better than what they cooked up for the movie, but that's not saying much. I do like the stacked vertical fogs though.

P.S. I think it looks better with blacked out wheels personally.

I really do like your photoshop OP. Really.

I think GM will end up making the front a little squarer (pretty sure that's not even a word! But you know what I mean). Because it kinda looks a little.. cute.. to me.
