Based on others orders I've seen them sit at 3800 for a bit or 4000 for a bit before moving to 4200 (which at that point the invoice will have been generated).

You really need to talk to your dealer about this. Or laborsmith and Becky.

So that I understand: you put in a deposit I February to hold your place and then the order itself was placed when the order bank opened at the end of April? I have done that before the amount of info we now get through the internet. The salesperson would call me when the order could be entered and I would head up there later that day.

The VIN is available when you reach 3800. Paperwork can be done as soon as the dealer has the VIN if the dealer wants to do it then. Warranty starts then.

If only.

I placed the order in February. Put down money. Completed the order process. Dealer never got another 2016 (non convertible) allocation at any point from GM.

Order got killed automatically and became a 2017 at some point. Has TPW now.

Now dealer and I are in talks that he might be able to get a similar car (everything but interior = black instead of kalahari, which I can live with). Honestly sounds like best course of action right now, being that he's going to be on the hook for around $2000+ to me if it does end up showing up after July 4th and he knows it.

Again, this whole process has been a joke.

Just saw these posted online on Facebook from the show at Becky's dealership. Even more glad I ordered a 50th.

Supposedly there are the first 2 50th produced. A coupe and a convertible. I didn't share any exterior on convertible since I didn't order one lol.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing Kaizer! Finally the pics we've all been waiting for.

I PM'd Becky Friday in addition to leaving the VM and she got back to me here and said that's what they were busy getting ready for so I totally understand not having a lot of time to talk and you know, since I didn't decide to call until about 4pm on a Friday. Duh. She said she might try to call me tomorrow but otherwise she'll be in the office on Tuesday.

The 50th looks bangin'! I sure hope I can get one ordered soon. I'm feeling pretty good about it.
