I remember in late 80s/early 90s with low rider fad, ppl would have 50 trophies around their truck. It was always tacky. I never was a fan of low riders....

Whenever I'm at a participant vote car show and a car has trophies at it, I never vote for that car. I'll always vote for the car that didn't have any trophies at it, because he needs to win one.

This was the first summer with my camaro, work conflicted with me going to alot of the shows that I wanted to attend, but I still got to attend quite a few.

Great Job O.P............beautiful car, easy to see why you'd get a trophy. I was always under the impression that those judging and assigning the trophy's to the winners were themselves bragging on said Winners......The trophy itself adding to the material fact.........the Winners deserved to win. On behalf of the show visitors reactions, comments, etc.
For the trophy naysayers.............especially the one who doesn't like them but. believes being a materially unsubstantiated braggart is ok....................phooey. |
