20,000 Miles

Hey, my 2010 2SS/RS just reached the 20,000 mile mark. I was just wondering if there are any things I should have checked out or any maintenance things done. I have been getting my regular oil changes, just installed new brake pads, and new all season tires on are their way. I have never had any problems with the car, so let's hope this keeps going.

I think your good to go but wondering why you needed brakes at 20,000 miles.
My '10 SS has over 30,000 miles, and my pads show a lot of life left.

Couldn't deal with the squealing, I had to switch ceramic quiet as a church mouse now.

Were the ceramic a whole bunch more $$$$ ? I did hear you don't get the brake dust like the originals which may be worth changing just for that.

Actually, think I am going to buy the entire ZL1 setup when need to service brakes: 6 pistons and a bit bigger rotors, 14.6 vs. 14. Poor ol' V6's get single piston brakes on 12.6 rotors....

Nope, JDP Motorsports had a promotion going on got all 4 corners for $129 shipped. (not sure if it's still up, check their website)

Ever changed the air filter? Wouldn't hurt if not.

Casper's an 10 too, driven rarely ( or it seems) as he has been the past 2 years or so..............and he's approaching 46k on the odometer...........you've posted your car has just hit the 20k mark and ask if theres any thing you should have checked....I'd suggest seeing a shrink.........the darn things meant to driven. Your lips for smiling :-) With no sure fire guarantee's of another tomorrow........what are you saving the car for? Enjoy the next 20k...............

100% right! Enjoy the ride! I travel, right now, about 150miles/day to work and back. I could have gotten a more "Practical" car for this commute but i decided that since i'm in my car all that time, i'm going to have a car i will really enjoy. It's not an SS but the gas mileage is a bit better, I still get head snaps and I play whenever I can.

I have 26K miles and 3 years and have essentially just changed oil until replacing the tires recently at 22K.

The pads are starting to squeal just a bit now.

I just realized I really need wiper blades..I can't believe they went this long.

I'm doing the blades and the cabin filter this weekend
