622 HP and 605 LB-FT Torque Times listed aren't that impressive and has to be off as we have seen stock cars run those times. |

Which is what I said a few months ago....
The 6th gen is a great car but once you start adding HP it's going to be hard to put that additional power down due to the cars light weight and skinny tires. The Z06 combats this by going with 315's in the rear.. The 5th Gen had it's weight to help plant the rear end down. I'm sure the aftermarket community will figure it all out in due time though.

I have a hard time believing those numbers are accurate. Why would they bother making that package and skimp on getting the power down. Who would buy that?

People who want to say they have 622 hp but have no intention of using it.

121 mph is nothing to sneeze at. If a car can get into the 116-117 mph range in the quarter it's putting down some hp.

I wonder if companies can add their own tunes that affect MRC. That way, if you had MRC, they could add a custom "drag mode" that would help with launching the car. Then you just need better tires.

3yr/36,000 mile standard warranty is nice!
DR's would put that car in the high 10's. Unfortunately the hood is killing me. |

And the Scat Pack with 245's. Test drove one, and it was fun, but very poor choice in tire size and capability.

There's no reason a front can't be used for a rear as a temporary spare tire right? It'll fit normally? |
