And a question about wheels.

I remember back in the day when I'd buy tires that I'd go 10mm wider than what was called for. If it's a 245 tire go with 255.

Is there a reason this has changed? Having a slightly wider tire than the wheel meant no road rash on wheels. Sure some scuffed up tires but it's far easier to clean a mildly scuffed tire than repairing a curbed wheel.
You technically can still do this. You may get a slight tire buldge, but going 10mm is hardly noticeable.

It's that slight tire bulge that prevents curb rash. Tires are of course pliable. Soft aluminum is not.

With a tire bulge if one taps a curb they can stop and pull away to correct. That same slight bump with flush wheels and no tire bulge = curb rash with the slightest curb tap.

I've done it and do my best to avoid rashing my wheels but, even being careful I've accumulated a few scuffs. I'm sure the rear view camera will help with that.

Sledge, did you happen to notice anything in the 6th gen to monitor air pressure in each tire? I know my 5th gen has the dash that can show each tire's pressure.

I unfortunately wasn't able to flip through the main screen options. Maybe Tr6 can confirm?

I am 99% sure there is as it is a required safety feature to my understanding

It's there. I ran across it before my test drive of a 2SS yesterday.. Even my 2012 Cruze has it. Lol.

I have been fairly vocal about my dissatisfaction around this and I chatted with both Tom and Al on it. Tom deferred to Al on all things.

Al mentioned he understands some of our orders show 3800 on 10/14 and 10/15 etc... and he mentioned cars were hardly coming off the line on those specific days and may have started their journey to be built on those days. He also specifically mentioned TR6's car wasn't even built on those days.

Cars are shipping, the internal systems are not 100% accurate or spot on. They are coming. He also mentioned that no QC issues happen to his knowledge. He understands the frustration around waiting, but expressed many times they are coming and the logistics can be and are a nightmare.

He also mentioned they do not control that the first cars out are the first to ship. Logistics play a huge role once again. Outside of that he had no other specific answers for me.

He did jokingly blame the PR/ Communications team for the long waits as he and Tom have been on the road instead of the factory (Again a joke).
Thanks for asking the question and posting what they said.

2016 2SS Ordered: Nightfall Grey, A8 Auto, MRC, NPP, Black bowties and 5 spoke black rims.

I would say yes, but not comfortably. I am not sure you would be comfortable even if you ripped the 2 front seats out.
