GM GFX Splitter - What part numbers needed

I have a 2011 2SS coupe and have been looking at all the available splitters out there online and in the forum. My spouse and I have concluded that we like the GM GFX the best. We also like the ACS T4 and RPI but the GFX is our first choice. Pricing is low $500 range which is in the same ballpark as a T4 once it is painted. I looked through the forum and am sure someone has posted an answer to this question but I cannot find it and the GM parts system can be confusing.

Question is -- What is the GM Splitter part number and what other parts are required to install it?

GM dealer gave us a part number for the splitter in black with the mounting kit (Part Number: 22745060-front spoiler W/O ZL1 & RS PKG 2014-15, SS, black). This seems correct but I am not sure if it is inclusive of the trim bracket install kit.

Also, when I checked out the online parts diagram there is another part (Part Number-92234404 air deflector W/O ZL1 & RS PKG 2014-15, SS) and (Part Number: 11610747- air deflector bolt W/O ZL1 & RS PKG 2014-15).

Is the air deflector part required, or desirable? Is it the rubber deflector already on the bottom of my fascia or should this part be added with the splitter, Am I getting the installation kit or is this another part number.

I have the GM GFX complete set in carbon fiber from Seibon, it replaced the factory set. I don't know about the rubber deflector, but I would recommend you get a clear bra on the splitter the first day. If you don't within a week it will look like a shotgun hit it.

The stock rubber air deflector is very important component to keep on the Camaro even with a custom splitter installed. The rubber air deflector keeps excessive wind at high speeds from getting caught up under the hood. This also helps reduce hood flutter while driving fast.

I have the stock 2011 SS splitter and the rubber piece finally fell off today. Do I really need to replace it?

Did you ever figure this out? I know this is a very old thread. Did you ever order the "22745060" and confirm if it came with the required 3 mounting brackets that are attached to the stock fascia via rivets?

While searching through a catalogue, right next to "22745060", I found the following, but it's very vague. Nobody on these forums has cited this specific part # to my knowledge, so I'm curious to order it.

20979253
ATTACHMENT PKG, Front End
ATTACHMENT PKG,FRONT BUMPER FASCIA EXTENSION(INCLUDES 5,7,9)(7.874)(SERVICE COMPONENT OF MOLDING KITS)

The one I ordered for My 2011 2ss/rs was
20979252

This was the basic grey painted one that came stock on My 2011

Yes it came with all the brackets , rivets and hardware to attach it. No it did not come with the rubber air dam.

Thanks!

In my case, I need a GBA color which is # 22745060. I'm so freaking glad they offer these pre-painted or it else it would be ridiculously expensive on top of the $500 price tag for just the front splitter.

Good to know this will come with the required mounting brackets, since this is what my body shop claims I bent. I documented my saga a bit here:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9598407

I'm still very curious if # 20979253, which I stumbled upon, is *just* the brackets. One of the things that sucks is that the descriptions GM has refer to part #'s on a diagram, but the diagram is pretty vague and doesn't even depict that the mounting brackets exist, at all.

All I know is 22745060 (full GBA black splitter kit with mounting hardware) and the much cheaper 20979253 have some overlap in their parts list, so now I'm even more curious if its the mounting brackets...

For comparison:

22745060
FASCIA, FRONT BUMPER(PART OF 1)((INCLUDES 5,6,8,10,11)(BLACK)(7.831)(SERVICE COMPONENT OF MOLDING KIT 22745049)
Fitting Vehicle Options:
ES(GBA)
----
Price: $500

20979253
ATTACHMENT PKG, Front End
ATTACHMENT PKG,FRONT BUMPER FASCIA EXTENSION(INCLUDES 5,7,9)(7.874)(SERVICE COMPONENT OF MOLDING KITS)
----
Price: $100

If nobody knows, I might gamble with $100 and just order this to see what it is or call my dealership to see if they can figure it out. Again, no references to what 20979253 is, anywhere on these forums even, beyond GM's description...
