If preorders can be 1100 without any allocation,
How can we know dealers got a real allocation and they don't lye?

Best way should have been :
-if they have one then 1100 and after it's GM business
-if they have not, then preorder should not work
?

They didn't seem aware if they had an allocation, is there a valid way to check?

I found it helpful to talk to the person who does the actual ordering at the dealership. My dealer had a printout of their allocations. These allocations didn't specify the date when the orders will be accepted, just sometime in the 2017 ordering cycle, of which Feb. 9th is the next opportunity.

I really want a green, a10, nav ZL1, but my local dealer is telling me that will basically be a unicorn. Is there any chance I could get on a list for one this late in the game?

Word was the Krypton Green would be a limited run available toward the end of the 2017 production, but no one has confirmed when, or even if that's actually going to happen. Of course you have to find a dealer that has allocation for one first and that can be quite a chore itself. Good luck.

Fingers crossed, I plan to order a ZL1 A10 tomorrow for Feb 9th run. Dealer said they have 1 allocation and will honor the Supplier discount as well.

The best way I've found to get an allocation is to call Chevy Customer service or a local dealer who is kind enough to tell you all of the dealers in your area who got allocations and built them out to your liking that are unspoken for and put your name on one.

Believe it or not there are a lot of dealers who are building A10s that are not spoken for. Just as there are a ton of M6s that are unspoken for that the dealer is building in anticipation of demand. Here is one of them. If it was an Automatic it would be in my garage.

Becky- Looks like you seem to be the most informed on order cycles and what is realistic... Looking for your opinion.

I put deposit down with dealer in Oregon on 12/9/16 for ZL! with A10 transmission and the order has not been picked up by GM to build. Next time I might see movement would be 2/9/17?

I just left a dealer and they kept talking about constraints. Are there any constraints right now? I know CF was one, but I'm not doing that anyway, any others?

I keep hearing about the krylon green going to be on the ZL1, but have yet to see any official confirmation from Chevrolet that it will be on anything but the V6 1LE.

Garnet Red was put on constraint earlier this month. Not sure if it still is or not.

I notice immediately after your order was put in the status changed. My order is supposed to be in the system Monday, I will check with Becky Tuesday to see if my order status updated or do I need to wait til the 9th to see a status change? I'm worried they lied and no allocation.
