UPDATE: Still in the same spot as I was last week... Weather is still crappy in my area, and looking for snow today. So until I get another pretty day, I'll be stuck in this spot. But.. Wednesday is suppose to be 53 degrees and sunny, with NO RAIN! Yay!!! Let's hope the weather man is right, so we can finish getting what we need out of the donor car! Still looking to buy aftermarket stuff before I actually put the motor in. What are your thoughts on upgrades that I should do at first. Current mods ready to install are in my signature!

I would recommend upgrading the coil packs, plugs, plug wires, a FAST LSX intake manifold and throttle body, possibly rocker arms while the engine is out anyway and cam.
ALL much easier to do with the engine out and on a stand.
Depends on your budget though.

UPDATE: Got a little progress done today. Finally had a decently nice day to take the dash out, even though we didn't get it all the way out. The car was smashed so bad in the front we are going to have to cut the firewall to be able to get the dash harness out. But we are going to try to finish getting it out tomorrow. (Weather permitting) other than that, my last parts came in today, which were a brake rotor and clutch pedal position sensor. All that leaves up now Is finish getting the harnesses and start swapping! Getting closer. Will update tomorrow or Friday about further progression!

2012 Camaro V6 Swap to LS3.

UPDATE: Got the rest of the dash out today and wiring harness, now we just need to make sure that we have all the wiring we need to make it run right. But until we can find some information we can't do anything. So if anyone has any idea of what all wiring has to be changed, please let me know!

Oh and BTW if anyone wants to know what their car looks like naked inside, or how bad this car was smashed up inside.. Here you go! [

The one that runs down the side of the engine bay, and through the firewall.. That plugs into the fuse box? And the O2 sensors are with the engine harness, and so are the injectors. But the v6 fuel pump is not much different from the SS fuel pump (as far as I know). But I have pictures of everything just about it!

Ecu? The ecm yes... But the ecu tells the ecm....so one would think they would have wires connecting them both...

UPDATE: Well guys, looks like we're stuck for a few days. Local weather channel is expecting us to have 8-12" of snow the next couple of days which puts us on hold. Other than that, everything is ready to go as soon as we get decent weather. Let's hope and pray for good weather coming up in the next couple weeks so we can get this build on the road. Thank you guys for all of your support, keep watching for more updates!

Thanks for the up-dates Austin.
Wishing you the beat with the Camaro project,

Hope that the weather begins to make a turn for
the better soon.
