I can see offset grinding the crank to 1.850" (Honda journal size) to gain about .175" of stroke... Of course custom rods will be needed... I think it would be find for an NA application, NASCAR, and circle track guys run that small journal all day long at 8k+ rpms... Going with this stroke, and a 98mm max bore would yield a 4.1. Going with 97mm bore would yield a 4.0.

I guess would really needs to be looked at, is will the head gasket take a piston that big, or would custom gaskets be needed also?

Just by offset grinding the crank to a Honda journal size, it would bump the engine up to a 3.8L (just barely, it would actually be about 3751.9 ccs , or 3.75L).
I have to agree, these ideas are really for a NA setup. You can do a lot with FI without changing displacement at all.

Grinding the stock crank would be cheaper than getting a custom crank, but you lose the roll-hardened journals. I don't think most people will worry about that.

Seems I was a little off on my math for the crank offset grinding numbers... You can get a 3.8L just by going to a small journal SBC size rod journal (2")... That may still be suitable for boost? Going all the way down to the 1.85" Honda journal size would yield a 3.9L... With stock bore...

So given this new info, if a guy was to do the Darton sleeves and a max bore of 98mm, it would yield a 4.1L (w/ 2" journals), and a 4.3L (w/ 1.85" rod journals).

Either way, it's not going to be cheap. Just received a quote to have some rods made to fit the 1.85" rod journal... $1329

Interesting, I would love a stroker but lack of market is going to make it outrageous. It's definitely something I'd love to see though

I think we would see some pretty good gains with raising the compression

I'm just going to bring this over to this thread,

Well, 400 rwhp m6, then go twin turbo set up, and a laundry list of parts

I have the LLT so not really thinking lfx stroker kit but still will enjoy the read, thanks for the link

I was thinking bore/stroke of 3.720/3.770

Bring it to 4.025L or so...

How do you think that would work?

For na, and to boost it.
