Matt Farah 6th gen SS?
Just wondering will Matt Farah review the 2016 SS? If you aren't familiar with him, he is SmokingTire host. Who had bad impressions/bias against the 5th gen Camaro. Had some positive notes about 1LE but defintely leaned towards mustang. In fact I believe he owns a 6th gen GT currently. While I do also like the GT, I want to see him fairly evaluate the new Camaro. If possible do comparision video with the mustang.
Do you guys believe he will review it and will he have positive or bad impressions with the car? |

Hope he doesn't test it on a go-kart track again.

Agreed, I want to see a 'one take' review like he did with his newly bought Mustang. We want to know how it drives in the streets and the quality of overall package. Hopefully he doesn't judge the car by it's go kart track performance otherwise that would make for an unfair and biased review. |

His disdain towards GM and especially Chevy in particular comes thru each time I watch his reviews which to me is unprofessional for a journalist. A good journalist would never let his prejudice or dislike to be a part of the interview/review but they would give you the honest pros and cons so you the consumer can determine which is best for you.
I will be honest and say I will be surprised he gives it a solid review after watching his ATS-V review. Being a mustang lover is not the issue for me at all if that is what he is but marginalizing other good (GM) products on small issues but not recognizing the achievements at the same time is a fail in my book. I saw him at the revel earlier this year in Detroit and wondered what kind of review we would get. And on that same note, Johnny Lieberman of Motor Trend also comes off the same way in my book for his obvious pro european attitude.

Are you kidding me? Are you aware of his modified C5 Corvette that he rocked for a long time? He might still have it but I thought I heard him say that his back finally couldn't take the racing seats anymore.
I've never been given the impression that he has a disdain towards GM.

I knew of his Corvette ownership but that still is not a get out of jail free card in my book.

A journalist or reviewer who interjects his will into a story is influencing the story itself.
Just give me the unbiased facts.

He will end up doing a review... like everyone. Wait till a crap ton of vehicles are delivered to CALI area and someone will let him drive their car. I would but I live in Wichita and there is no such a thing as "curves" here. He could only test the car for stopping and acceleration on a straight way lol.

That stretch of road he used for the ATS-V is definitely a great drive from what I saw on the video.

He's very critical and a lot of the things he says clash with others have said. Except for the C7 Corvette, which he loves. He hates the 5th gen Camaro, he would bash the C6 Corvette here and there in some videos, and in other videos he would like it so I guess it depends on his mood. He likes Mustangs I think, but was not a fan of the 2013/2014 GT500, claiming the car wanted him dead and the more power these cars have, the worse they get.
As for as the 6th gen Camaro, I think he'll like the performance, he'll like the vastly improved interior, but I'm willing to bet he'll complain about the visibility and interior room like head room, etc. |
