I like the RS spoiler the best.

I am going to leave the SS badge off for a while and see what it looks like. I can always put it back on later or better yet, change the rear Chevy logo for a Heritage SS badge.

Ditto. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't look like it was super glued to the back of the car. The shape of the spoiler is great, it's just not the most elegant looking installation I've ever seen. Also not a fan of the brake light.

Post Unplugging the third brake light in the window?

I personally don't care for the ones in the back window you do have the option to leave the one in the back window unpluged (like I did) and if your window is tinted dark you can't even see it anymore. I have the technostalgia LED tail lights that strobe when you hit the brakes and I added a strobe to the 3rd brake light in the spoiler now it strobes with the tail lights before lighting for the brakes.
And for the guys that think that it doesn't "flow with the lines of the car" well you need glasses I think the G.M. designers did a great job on this car and on all the optional add on parts as well, better in fact then most of the after market ones out there. I went with it cause it looks great, its a genuine G.M. part and the fit and finish is better than most bar none. JMO
So I've been searching for some instructions on exactly how to do this... I have the 2012 2LT Transformers 3 Edition Camaro which came with the high wing spoiler from the factory. They, unfortunately, left the third brake light in the window even though the high wing spoiler has one. I think that looks really stupid. Also - at night because the spoiler is largely yellow, when I brake the light in the window lights up the front of the spoiler so bright that it's nearly impossible to see out of the rear window. (A safety issue for me, in my opinion.) Since the light is molded into the rear decklid, removing the light isn't a practical option. I'd like to just unplug it, but I can't figure out how to get to the plug.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Orphyx

You can do it fairly easily. Let your back seat back down and crawl in the space. Pull the trim loose from below the small glass window on the left side as you face the trunk. You have to pull the rear panel loose to the back side of the glass alsol...these just clip in. When you get them off, use a flashlight to look in the space behind the small window toward the trunk area. There's an electrical plug in there with three wires plugged in. You need to find the two wire plug that goes to the right and up to the rear window brake light. Disconnect that plug and you got it. If I were you, I would leave the panels off and check that the spoiler light still works if that's what you want to happen. When you've confirmed, put the panels back in place and you're done. Hope this helps.

It looks great in person, I've seen it and everyone was surprised at how much better it looks when you see it.

I just ordered this one. I love the look. It's $485 through vendor. I had a hard time finding it in my color (new 2012 Ashen Grey) but I got it. It's an add on and I think they also refer to it as the Blade Spoiler. It's factory painted though so it should match right. I'll let you know next week.

In my opinion, it's by far one of the fugliest spoilers.. only second to the high rise spoiler. And this is coming from someone with a brickyard spoiler on my '94 Camaro. It just doesn't flow with the car what so ever.

To each his own. I love mine with this spoiler. As a matter of fact that is what drew me into this particular car on the lot. As long as I like it that is all that matters. I bet that the cars I beat probably don't like looking at it either.

When I got my 2012 it was one of the few options I got. I've had compliments on it, especially since it's not exactly a common sight.
