’22 Camaro 2SS 1LE Whirring/Roaring Sound

Hello everybody, pretty concerned about this noise I’m getting from my SS. She has 8,700 miles and only mod is the Eibach pro kit lowering springs installed by the one prior owner. Initial thought was it was the worn rear tires, got those replaced and noise persisted. Took her in to the dealer today, tech thought it was the front driver wheel bearing which they replaced and noise still persisted. They’re going to look into it over the weekend and possibly also try replacing the front passenger side wheel bearing and see if that fixes it.

Link to video with the sound clip: https://youtu.be/HPXTd6N3dcI

I wanted to get you alls opinion and see if anyone has dealt with this or something similar and can guide me to the right solution. The sound starts about 5 seconds into the video. The sound is most pronounced from about 27 MPH to about 39 MPH.

Have you checked if the tires might be rubbing on the fender liner? Usually you will see this on the drivers side rear wheel. There is a wiring harness back there too, and since you lowered it, it may be rubbing.

Thanks for the reply! I’ll head up to the dealership first thing in the morning and take a peek at if that’s the issue.

Sounds like the tires are the culprit. I thought I had a wheel bearing going out in the front, but it turned out to be the tires themselves. Still had plenty of tread left but were noisy as hell:(

Going to switch out the tires today and see if that solves it. Thanks for the response!

Confirmed it was the front tires making the sound. Sound is gone after getting new front tires. Thank you to everyone who responded!
