Not sure if this is the spot to ask but are there easier ways to upload pictures? When using this site it always seems to put my pictures on sideways. If I crop them from my phone, it won't allow the file extension. Now, photobucket wants to charge for third party sharing and I'm not going to pay for that when for the last decade it's been free. Actually don't like to use photobucket anymore due to all the ads that pop up keeping you from getting things uploaded. What else is there to use or does anyone have any tips?

I use tapatalk and havn't had any issues

A lot of people have had this problem. I've seen most of the uploaded pics show upside-down. Not sure what the solution is.

Here's a test of an image from the Chevy site:

In the preview, it shows right side up and looks normal.

EDIT: Well, looks like this was posted correctly. Are you linking pictures from DropBox or some other photo sharing site by chance?

use a computer. upload from phone to the computer. edit and rotate\crop to fit. then upload. should never rotate if done this way.

I'm talking about loading a picture directly to this site say from phone pictures. Sometimes they load sideways.

This is an example. This picture on my phone and in emails shows right side up but when loaded here it is sideways

Taking them in portrait instead of landscape will do that, it posts the long side as the horizontal. Crop it and it will post better. Or take it horizontally. Even then it may post upside down, to prevent that on the Iphone take the picture with your charge port facing right. On other phones experiment to see if it matters.
The car was taken horizontally and the dog was taken vertically.

That picture was taken in landscape, see the long side is horizontal.

If you want to upload from your PC you can use Irfanview to rotate, crop, resize, etc. It is a free program.

Yeah amazing isn't it .

Granted I used a real camera for that pic . If people would learn how to take pics with their phone correctly they wouldn't have trouble uploading them.

Well that same picture uploaded to photobucket shows right side up. Even when I was able to "share" it from photobucket, it was right side up as well

Photobucket was my go to. Bummer they want money now. I'm on my phone 99% of the time. What are my pic options now? I can't seem to attach from my phone picture folder.
