Pennsylvania Snow!

Good morning!

I was a little hesitant to spend $1000 on winter rims and tires, but it was well worth it so far.

When I had my 2011 1LT it would barely go with slush/snow on the road, using the stock all season Pirelli tires. I live in an area with a lot hills to get stuck on. (it was fine on flat land)

We just got 24-ish inches of snow and the 2013 SS is having no problems in the heavy slush with the Blizzak tires, 19 inch rim combo.

I do believe that I am going to look for a used winter vehicle this summer so next year I can leave the Camaro parked. Stay safe Pa. people!

That was the calm before the storm

A friend of mine just moved back to Pa. from Bonita Springs FL after 15 years down there. He should have his head examined!

Here's what I was taking care of on my sidewalks. Drifting snow is a b!+ch! We got 31.5-34" depending on which tv station you watched.

20" here. I hope this was a one and done. I can't stand snow. My John Deere with the snowblower did awesome however.

So glad we dodged that here. I'm still sick of digging out from last winter. We had places that didn't see total snow melt until the first week of June.

That storm would have been nothing for us here in Central New York.
In fact, we wouldn't even call it a storm. We'd call it a normal Tuesday.
