JRE is the way to go... he sends you FREE tunes when you buy parts from him. PLUS he has a price matching assuring you cant find it cheaper anywhere else.
FYI most places charge 500 to tune your ride! |

+1 for ARH. Love their full exhaust system. No drone, but screams at WOT.

Have you looked into the LG Super Pro Headers? Most people see about a 35rwhp gain. We can hook you up with a set at a great price!

We carry a bunch of brands but always seem to recommend Stainless Works or ARH for their quality, excellent power gains and sound. Both have full systems available with epic sound. Give us a call and we can help you pick out a combo that suits your needs and budget.

This is the nicest sounding/meanest exhaust I've heard yet, at least as far as internet video is concerned, love it.
Was this on a stock/untuned engine? Last edited by willhe64; 06-04-2012 at 06:29 PM. |

There are so many options. But here are the basics. 1) Your HP/TQ gains come from Long tube headers and tune. The rest of the system is for sound only. Depending on whether you have an LS3 or L99, will determine how well your stock system will sound with headers. 2) Cats or no cats. HiFlo cats will help keep a deeper tone, catless gets kinda raspy. 3) You will need a tune with headers.
Regardless of the headers you decide on, the gains and sound will all be within a couple hp and db. Do plenty of research and take your time. Dont let someone else tell you what YOU want. ARH, SW and Kooks are popular on this forum, but there are other less expensive quality headers out there, look around. As I always suggest to those who are new or novice to this game, start slow and work your way up. I would suggest getting headers and tune first. See what you think of the sound with the stock cat back (you might be suprised). Then if you want more sound you can choose an axel back, or, if you like spending money, a complete cat back. Good luck

Yea I am new to this and I appreciate the experience and input from you guys. I am doing my best to start slow and do as much research as possible. My engine is the LS3 and I am looking at buying a tuner and tune from Ted at Jannetty Racing. So far all I have ordered is a cold air intake from CAI and I am looking to further invest in this car. Thank you guys for your time and keep it coming if you have any other suggestions. I am a sponge at this point trying to soak up whatever I can lol.

LS3 with ARH longtubes with highflows and corsa catback very tame when cruising but loud as hell at WOT plus you get the loud ass decel poping with the corsa.
