Exclamation Exhaust and clutch help!!

maaaan do i need help! i just bought a brand new 2012 camaro LS stick shift and i have no idea what to do! i was wondering if you guys could help me find an exhaust thats pretty cheap (less than 500) and sounds like a muscle car should! i live in LA, cali so if you could refer me to someone who could install it, i will appreciate that very much!

also somethings wrong with the tranny or gearbox idk? every time i drop it into second gear it feel likes i get 3 clicks, and when im just driving the stick is rumbling. so far i havent burnt the clutch enough to smell it but it is worrying me that i have to be extra careful when i change to second gear.

thanks in advance!

You should go with magnaflow mufflers. Axlebacks tend to be a little on the pricey side. I got a magna flow resonated x pipe + 2 magna flow mufflers + 2 4" tips installed for $360 out the door but my uncle was able to get me the cheaper price.

I doubt non-nephews would get nearly as good a price.

Get used to the sounds the clutch makes because its not going away. It seems our manuel trannys make those sounds. I know it feels and sounds horrible but there are ways to prevent it. When in 1st gear, always shift into 2nd gear at 2k rpm's or higher. I also learned when your driving slow (in traffic for example) and need to be in first gear, I noticed that if you give it a little gas(or just keep your foot on the gas as you inched forward in traffic) and then press the clutch in, it makes the clicking noise a lot less. Plus you can hear your "Mrt 2.0 muscle car sounding exhaust" Rev up!

Try this and see if it helps out, it works for me in my 1ls. Good luck! Post some pics of your car too we want to see!!

I went to triple AAA exhaust off of La Cinega, I ended up getting Magna Flo mufflers I went with cat back system.

They put on different type of mufflers so you could hear the difference in them and allow you to pick out the ones you want.

He put on Flowmaster's, Corsa's etc...

The MRT sounds good, you do have to order them though.
