That's too low, and coming from a low milage guy. Enjoy it more you have much more wiggle room & still stay low miles. For example, my 2013 has 13,400 which equates to 3800 per year.

had wear concern on top in two spots from chaffing when top down and buffeting with no tonneau cover installed. Since top replacement we always install cover and place beach towel between top folds.

About the same here - 9.500 & no problems. Only use it mostly on nice warm sunny days, though.

When I had my '12 2LT I did have a hole wear into the top, but they replaced it under warranty.

Trust me, I plan on putting on some miles. I am the second owner, I just picked the car up in late Jan. of this year there were under 6,000 miles on it when I bought it and being from Chicago the weather is just now getting nice enough to start putting some miles on it. I spent the past couple months having wheels powder coated, installed Eibach springs, Vara-Ram intake, ported TB, Lingenfelter exhaust and a few other goodies. I got the "the previous owner was an older gentlemen that never drove the car much" story from the salesmen, but since this wasn't my first rodeo I took that with a grain of salt lol. He stated the previous owner is an older gentlemen with lots of cars, in fact he just traded in my SS a for a new 2017 ZL1 coupe and 1 2016 Z06 Vert. As it turns out I actually ended up meeting the previous owner because he contacted the dealership shortly after I purchased it and told them he had the tonuea cover and floor mats. The dealership contacted me to ask if they could give him my contact info, I drove over to his house which was not far from me to pick up the tonuea and the brand new still in the poly bags stock floormats(he purchased custom Lloyds), he had a 6 car dream garage filled with all sorts of nice GM products classics and late model. FWIW, he was not that much of an "older gentlemen" maybe late 50's and I am 45 so I didn't see him as too much "older" or over the hill but I guess my 20 something salesman did lol.

5th bow replaced
water bag replaced
rear carpet dealt with also after the flood due to water bag failure

these repairs were done at around 3700 miles?? , I forget exact miles but it was in the spring of 2012 ( my car is stored for the winter from about October onward until spring)

I currently have about 11,000 miles on the car...Not sure how long this replacement top is going to last...I am not confident that this top will last either..Time will tell.

What a crappy design and crappy quality of the top....

Bought my 2011 SS in October of 2015. Had 3200 miles on it. Thank God for the 90 day warranty. Dealer had to replace (due to rear carpets found wet after washing car) 5th bow and Water Bag. Now, all is right as rain. Well, I better not use that word, lol.
