Painting calipers

I plan on painting my calipers Thursday and I've noticed there are these little patches on the calipers... Should I be painting over these or removing them???

Just recently DIY the G2 usa caliper paint kits. I painted over the weird patches. Just takes an extra coat to cove them up nicely

Thanks for the input everyone, sounds like we have a general consensus here. I will be painting over them.

I painted mine too. Take the time to clean them and tape off correctly. Also there is special caliper paint. I do mine every two years.

Isn't that where they glue on the weights?

Here are mine after I painted them. I'll look for the during my DIY picks.

do you remove the old paint or just paint over it?
I want to repaint mine. I originally painted mine last year but I did not add any clear coat so they are starting to fade a bit

Pretty sure you can just sand them down a bit to scuff them up and paint over it.

Looks nice. Why did you not replace the stickers?
