i am trying to get the ZL1 conversion done but the shops here are very picky about doing any sort of thing outside of what it came with stock because of ICBI...

how are the differences and what issues for doing the conversion? is it just a straight simple put on?
I have no clue. But what I do know is that doing anything to your car that is deemed "easy" will always have at least one thing be difficult or test your nerve. My slogan while working on my car is: "it's always something". Best of luck with everything. Make sure to keep us updated.

Glad to hear you're alright!
If you have the body shop 'write-off' your headlights - you could probably sell them to cover any deductible. I would buy them

Glad you are ok! I bet your damages are more than 3-4k, I was rear ended this week, minor damage to my bumper, took it to my dealer body shop, $1650 in damages for minor paint repairs.

See how you feel tomorrow, injuries can show up after a few hours. The other guys insurance co called me today to ask if I was ok, I'm fine and no need to sue, just want my car fixed.

I'm sure his insurance co will call you, you don't have to talk to them, just your own.

Sucks that it happened but your car is fixable! Good luck!

I know you're a little far away but Body By Biggs has done several members cars here on the forum, and know the camaro well. We blew mine apart, and painted the whole thing.

Val,
FYI
Check for shop referrels from your insurance company, then YOU can decide where to go.

I have a list of preferred shops from my insurance, and a few non-referred, but high quality shops, too.

Forget about sueing unless there is personel injury, tommorow that could be you. Shit happens, get the repairs done at no cost to you, and move on.

Member of CAA? You could get them to pick it up on a deck and bring it home for you.

If you use the kit from the vendors here, it is significantly cheaper than buying piece by piece and even less than an original OE fix. Just sayin. Priced it out before for myself.
