good point.not everyone needs or wants to spend the extra money for the V8.if it werent for the 4 and 6 cylinder cars the camaro might have died again already.and while i like both the 5th and 6th gen cars the 5th is more spacious on the inside and easier to get into and out of for tall people.

I had a 2011 5gen and it was roomier but the fit and finish and the materials they used for the 6gen are quite superior. The ride is twice as good and its not so boxy. But once again if you are happy with your car that is all that matters.

The refresh just wasn't for me...the taillights, Charger-esq front bumper, the headlights with the break in the LED accent and "pan handle", new hood...the rest is GREAT, but the rest is also the same as the 16-18 models If the refresh is for you, then great...no hate. The reverse hate on the pre-refresh is weird to me. |

I had no love for the refresh from pics at first.
Then started noticing a few locally. The new grill design stands out better to me in person. The new drl look is pretty cool & kinda exotic looking seeing it in your rearview. Then saw a black one on the way home today. Definitely like the new look in black. |

For driver involvement, and fun for some of us, sure. For speed and time, nope. GM has already said A10 1LE will be faster on lap times than the 6. Really, all these transmissions are great, just GM dropped the ball on the A8 QA, but that pretty normal for the modern GM. When the screw up, they do it big.

I just picked my 19 2SS, my god 200 miles already! How do you break it in, of course I am trying to break in the brakes, which isn't easy in Miami, but the car keeps going over 80 every time I drive!?!?!?!?!

I followed the 2018 track prep guide that doesn't talk about max speed, only the avoidance of WOT launches, 4000+ rpm's, lugging the engine, cruise control and constant speeds for the first 500 miles. As to brake bedding, don't throw stones please, but I do it very early in the morning, hogging the right lane for a few miles with my hazards on. There doesn't seem to be any other way in this congested state of NJ to do those 60-30 and 60-15 braking sessions, the coasting inbetween, plus the miles of cooldown at the end. Guess Miami is similar traffic-wise.
