Coming back to GM!

Hey guys, just signed up to this group and wanted to say hi, I owned three Camaro Iroc-Z28's back in the day, a 86 305, 87 350 and a 1990 350, the 90 was totalted when a drunk driver hit me so I then purchased a 1990 Mustang GT and have been with Ford ever since (don't crucify me, we all make mistakes, right?) I am in the process of purchasing a 2016 Camaro 2SS in Mosaic Black and the 8spd Auto Transmission, I currently own a 15 GT which I am selling, so I am switching brand loyalty and going back to my roots, I believe that the new Camaro is a much better car than my 15GT, so I am excited to take delivery of the SS!

Nothing wrong with moving over to Ford for a Fox body. I would love to own a 90-93 GT one day. Any photos of it?

I like the mustang gt also, it was a tough choice, I could've had my 16 gt much sooner,lol, but ford didn't do anything to increase performance and I think camaro handles better... do wish I couldve gotten a shelby gt350 though, little out my price range...

I have been bouncing back and forth for years and years. I have no brand loyalty, I just buy what I like.

I've had an '88 IROC-Z, '92 LX 5.0, '95 Z28, '00 SS, '11 GT (two, a manual and automatic), and soon will get a '17 SS (or hopefully 1LE).

I've owned both Ford & Chevy. Had a 11 Shelby GT500, 13 boss302 which I traded for the 16 2SS 8A mag ride and really like her. I had a GT350 ordered but after waiting 3 months and seeing the acceleration numbers I cancelled for the SS. Plus the 350 was $12K more. On the street the SS will have better low end power. So yeah I like both Ford And Chevy. Should be great to see the next 640 hp Camaro and see what ford brings to the show.
Would also like to see a head 2 head between a 16 SS set up just right with a non R GT 350.

I agree. I love the late 80's early 90's fox bodies.

Then I went to Mopar for years

Then in 1995 a Camaro

I have owned 4 5th Gens, now going to Order a 6th GEN and that will be my 6th Camaro befitting I guess
