Does the oem zl1 front plate bracket require drilling to attach?

I found a zl1 in stock that I'm thinking of buying, but the nitwits installed the front plate bracket. How does that attach? If they drilled the front, I'm just gonna pass on this one and keep looking.

Thanks in advance!

Lol, that didn't answer the question, one guy said yes, the other guy said no. Maybe someone that has an uninstalled one can tell by looking at it.

No drilling at all. It is a bracket. You put the pieces together and then put it in place on the front grille and tighten the screws with a screwdriver. No drilling is necessary. I have mine on and it was easy.

The ZL1 add ons plate bracket uses the tow hook receiver for mounting.

No because it is removable for track cooling purposes.

No drilling. It basically compresses the grill between the plate holder and some tabs so that it can be removed. I definitely prefer the ZL1 Add Ons version that mounts in the tow hook receiver.

The factory front plate bracket requires no drilling. It basically clamps onto the grill. I bought my Z in a state that does not require the front plate and bought the bracket after I got the car home. It's still sitting on the dining room table.
Personally, I like the design a lot. Easy on, easy off.

I can post pics of the bracket tonight if you want.

^^ nah, I really appreciate the offer though! A bracket is perfect, no big deal. Thanks for the replies.

Nice of GM to make it removable with no issue.
