When I did it, my hubby said "I'm so glad you did that and not me...." Now I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. Makes me feel (a little) better....

Done it, and have the chip to prove it =(

My worst mistake was leaving my oil cap on the shock tower and closing the hood.... DENT.

In your picture, I see a can of what looks like it says: "Plasti-Dip". Were you able to find it in Rally Yellow? Please let me know where you got that touch up spray paint can so I can find one someday if ever needed.

Thanks.

Re wipers and damage to edge of hood - - has this happened to anyone else? The wipers arms on my Camaro were factory installed ON THE WRONG SIDE... Of course this resulted in paint scraping off the edge of the hood when the hood was closed. My dealer has acknowledged this and will make the paint perfect. Funny thing is, the wipers kind of operate on the wrong side. Any fellow C5'ers ever heard of this before?

I haven't done this... I learned my lesson on our BMW Z3.

In order to clean the windshield with the wipers 'up', you had to open the hood and then you can lift the wipers. So that is what I did. You lift the wipers up off the windshield and they are 'under' the hood. Well once I was done, I just closed the hood.

$90 and a new drivers side wiper arm later and lesson was well and truly learned!
