Fake out or asking for it
Certain cops seem to be targetting camaros in my city. especially black ones
I know i got a speeding ticket and failure to produce licence ticket ,not even a 24 hrs warning to produce my license then before i even drive away this cop radars another black camaro If i skinned to door in white would i just have a unique look or be even more of a cop magnet since they should know if we have camaro cop cars? |

Look into Al Priority. Pricy but worth it. Radar detectors are not enough anymore.

I agree with failshift. I got a uniden lrd950 it saves me all the time. Radar is still used a lot. From my research before buying the detector only certain police in the force of a particular state use laser and it is a small minority compared to the mass police force group still using radar.

I know I'm going to sound like "that guy", but have you tried not speeding? They could "target" black Camaros all they want, or any other color for that matter and wouldn't be able to pull you over if you're not breaking the law.

I can't name a city in which I have found it possible to reach the speed limit, unless it is at 4 am.

You have to go a long way from eastern Mass just to find some open road. And when you do, you find speed traps instead. |

Houston rush hour begins about 5 am and ends about 3 am.... My drive to and from work is 4 miles each way, all surface streets, 9 traffic lights. Driving to work takes me about 12 minutes at 5:30 am if everything is perfect, with hitting all 9 green lights and "normal" traffic. Typical time is about 25 minutes. The exact same 4 mile drive home in the afternoon at 5 pm takes me NO less than 30 minutes (THAT miracle happens maybe once a month), typically takes 45 minutes, and the record time for a 4 mile drive home once was 1.5 hours stop-and-go all the way to the entrance to my neigborhood. So I spend an average of 1 hour a day to travel 8 miles to and from work, and in Houston terms, I work practically next door. |
