Recommendations please, seems I need a new clutch

Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket clutches on these cars? All my knowledge is on late '60's Muscle cars.

Any info or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve used monster clutches twin disk a few times but
On my last C6Z06 it was making 960 rwhp and I was using the RPS BC3 Carbon, I had the BC2 before and enjoyed it way more for daily driving but needed the Tripple for the HP. Look into monster’s twin disk. They’re great value and quality and have supporting mods like reinforced throw out bearings etc. both incredible brands to look into. Hope this helps!

Why do you need a new clutch? What kind of power are you making? RPS, Monster, and Mantic are some names you’ll want to know. A lot of people don’t give stock ZL1 (5th and 6th) the credit they deserve. Sometimes it’s better to use a stock clutch (depending on your power) for the drivability and cost since even $4000+ carbon clutches will be toasted eventually.

I used an LPE ZR1 clutch on my car for like 30k miles pass after pass on my Z but after I went over 725 to the wheels it was smoking the factory stuff. I did 12+ sub 10 second pass on the BC3 and never had a problem(except a bunch of half shaft and a stage 5 RPM 3.90 rear lol) mantic is another great suggestion.
No personal experience but a few friends with great results.

Most definitely, I really appreciate it and will check into those. One of my Z06 buddies mentioned the McLeod RXT. Do you have any experience with those? I'm just over 700rwhp currently.

At 7500m and 50+ passes at the track, it started slipping on the dyno this week while doing some upgrades and tuning. Seemed like I would have gotten more out of it but I guess not. It was north of 700 rwhp when it started slipping so that's why I'm looking at aftermarket.

Thanks for input! Yeah, I'll check that too. Hopefully, the suggestions will help others. With the cars being new, not many people have a reason for researching clutches for this gen ZL1.
