Did a 35 roll vs a bone stock C7 Auto in my 2014 LS3, did multiple runs and every time I beat him by about a car length. Is this correct ? Thought he would be able to get me just because the weight factor ? He was on decent tire etc. Just didn't expect to beat it at all.

Yeah, he beats you by weight and overall design...hp is a wash...maybe he's running 87 octane and hot, so his ecm removed a boat load of timing?

I drove one. My Camaro with a Cam feels more torque but similar top end. On track a C7 was on my tail and running similar pace on the Sam Posey straight.

I don't have a cam, just 2 inch headers, z28 intake, ported throttle body, and tune. Kept pulling him so had no idea, was straight line I was already hot also no clue about him.

Hey did he by some chance have a 3" exhaust. The one I drove felt like if it had a 3" exhaust it would loose some drive ability and not pull well down low.

You won't beat a C7 without a cam. I have seen PLENTY camaros full bolt ons try against a C6 stock(close friend) and it's still a handful, a C7 by a car on auto he must have been in Eco mode running on 4 cylinders, and unlike your claim he's got videos full of it. Not a chance, he's got a better motor/weight/traction/aero. Only way to beat one is with atleast 60-80+RWHP. A LS2 vette will WALK a headers+tune Camaro. Top end a cam Camaro starts to pull away but until you get there it's nearly even with you cammed.

It's an auto no driving needed from a roll just gas it. The C7 should win even if it gives the Camaro a car head start and the hit. Maybe he passed a guy on the highway thought he was racing but no. His story holds no weight.
