Show me your aftermarket radio swaps

I'm looking to ditch my factory radio for a touch screen setup. I'm looking at the mylink setup (i read that I can get just the faceplate and it'll work? verify please?), that android unit from china, or if it looks and functions nicely enough, just about any other double din unit setup. has to be nav though, and play nice with at least an iphone (galaxy s5 support would be lovely, but not necessary)

aaaand go!

ended up going for an avic-z150bh w/ the scosche kit. now my biggest question: is there any way to re-use the stock usb/aux? i know you can use the stock usb by getting a mini-usb cable, but i havent seen anything for the aux input?

Not much, they can be had on eBay for 350-500 depending on if you find a few auctions

or an approximate cost? looks pretty cool!

Side note: the avic-z150bh fell through, the auction went higher than what i was willing to pay for for a used unit. I'm biting the bullet and going for the avic-8000nex

Well, the Pioneer DEX-P99RS is arguably one of the best sound quality head units ever made. It also has a built in processor. In addition, it is capable of doing a 4-way active setup. With my setup being highly focused on sound quality, it was a must-have (for me anyway).

I wanted Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth adapter for the P99RS was around $200. I was also in need of a backup camera (we all know why we need those). I couldn't find a decent screen that didn't look hideous. Then it came to me - why not use a flip screen with the P99? The auxiliary input adapter was cheap, and I got the AVH-X7500BT for $350 which it easily covers my Bluetooth and backup screen needs.

So - the way it works is like this:
I use the x7500 most of the time and my steering wheel controls operate the x7500. I keep the P99 remote in one of the cup holders in case I want to change the settings of the processor. Having both units also gives me 2x USB ports so I have one USB routed into my glove box and the other is connected to my factory port in the console.

My buddy is a Pioneer dealer and until I asked him about this Stage 4 Reference stuff, he didn't even know about it. He thought I was already buying the best Pioneer stuff out there, now we know different. I am happy with the components I have been buying, sounds great to me, but then again, my hearing isn't as good as most people, high ends roll-off badly within my head!
