Alternative Knight Rider LED placement - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Alright i like the lights but i dont have a neat little slot to put them into because i have a LT. Anyone have any good ideas where to mount this light or have any pictures of other places where they mounted it?

My girlfriend got me one from AAC and i installed it in my upper grill. Another member pointed ou there are two holes which are perfect to ziptie the light bar too. I wanted an SS bumper to do the mod, but after seeing the light in the grill, even if i get an SS bumper, id probably still install it in the grill. looks soo badass. I wish i had pics, ill try to get some tommorow

Totally!

Half the AAC Scanners we sell are to V6 customers. They look good behind the grille and emminate a nice glow.

I'm still awaiting a pic from a customer who wired two in succession behind the grille to give it a really nice effect!

I'll post it up as soon as we get it from em.....

i have the heritage grille on my car you still think it will look as good behind the upper grille

where are the holes that you zip tie the light bar too? and do you but ut on the buttom of the fascia or the top where the hood lock is?

I had two 15 inch strips installed near the top of the radiator. I was having some other work done and the bumper was off. Wired to the fuse box. The glow coming of my stainless steel grill is really cool.

The knight riders go off near the end at 1:18. I have two 15 inch side by side.

can you change the color of each one individually?

I just have the red ones. I don't know about the RBG ones. I would imagine when going through the various patterns, you can have different colors on each bar. At least that's what I remember from watching the vendors video of them.

the one on the AAC site is only of the single color not the RGB. I know you AAC guys are floating around out there somewhere.....got any vids?
