Racing buckets

Hi all. I’ve been researching this for a few weeks now and finally sat on some seats to see the fit. I’m in love with these seats. Anyone have any experience with them? Originally I was going to go with Recaro pole position but after seeing these, the quality is better and the fit is way better for me.

I'm looking into race seats also. I was looking at some on Summits web site. Sparco has a pretty cool seat for 400.00

Here is the Biggest challenge and that is how to trick the computer from throwing a code due to airbags being eliminated?? Do not tell me it's not an issue because it will put car in Reduced Power Mode.

They are not better than Recaro because number one they are not FIA Approved. So you will have a hard time using them in any track events other than driving schools.
Pole Position are true professional race seats.

I drove down to irvine to look at the sparcos and sit in them. only one fit me and the finish is not as quality oriented as the recaros and brides i looked at too. I am a stickler for quality and for function. i like the poles but i just dont fit comfortably. im a 36in waist 5'9'' - 195lbs. they are built for a horse jockey..

bypass the airbag circuit with a resistor to emulate the wattage, ohm and voltage that the airbag emits. this will fool the SRS module to think that the airbag is still connected.

You are about my size, I'm a little wider so I looked at their widest which was 21.00 inches. I couldn't find out how much they weighed but I wouldn't think over 20 lbs or so with cover. I may just end up taking the passenger seat out and leaving in the stock drivers seat after I put my RPM roll bar in. Its on order now and hoping to get it in the next couple weeks.

I've always been interested in how to just flat out disable the airbags (all of them), I have never been fond of them. (And nobody give me any grief about how much better I am with them, its my life, ill expire it how I choose :P

Fit is everything, not too snug or too loose. That said, if you find these to be the best fit why not go for them.
