I assumed his kit came with the new one already, or maybe the shop installed it for him. I would love to see what the new design looks like as the old one had too much rubber under the button which is why it was hard to push.

I like this PAC option except for the bump on the outer perimeter.

Yeah.. I thought it was weird as well. The non-mylink stock unit has the same bump, so I guess that's where they got it from.

I ordered one thru sonicelectronix but they are also on back order. No tax and free shipping. I contacted PAC audio and I was assured that the firmware and hazard button will be updated on any and all new units. I'd like to give a big thanks to those that took the plung and dealt with the issues of a newly released product, but even a bigger thanks for sharing that info and helping the rest of us out.

I have a 1LS. Should I upgrade to the PDIM at the same time to use Apple carplay? i only have the aux in my center console. I also want to add steering wheels controls.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Both USB and Aux connections are supplied with the PAC kit to make your console connections work

So I installed the unit and had no problems at all until today. I even added a foot to every cord to insure I could place the control module in the glove box if needed. Today I turned the car on and the temperature/ boot splash screen read camaro6 instead of showing an image and faded away. Now I have absolutely nothing there. I've unplugged and plugged back in every connection. I have nothing uncapped or open... I'm at an utter loss here
