Yes, the I-4, convertible will add to the numbers, but the V-8 and highly optioned models will taper off at the same time...Camaro enthusiasts are buying up the most V-8s and fully loaded cars right now, and those buyers will taper off....

Mustang is doing something right. It's impressive and Camaro is losing out.
I could've grabbed the Challenger R/T PLUS for under $30k. Dirt cheap pricing is helping the Challenger a lot.

The main reason the Camaro will not outsell the Mustang imo is the price point. Most Americans look at price first and foremost and the Mustang is cheaper. Also many people have made this point already the full 16 Camaro lineup isn't on the lots yet. I see many 2015 Camaros still available. Heck I considered buying a 15 SS for around 30K but I couldn't pull the trigger b/c the looks of the 5th gen doesn't work for me compared to the 6th gen I love the look of the 6th gen. If you want a great deal go check autotrader for 15 Camaro SS's you can find them for a great deal all over. I would actually prefer Camaro not to win the sales war b/c I don't want to see them everywhere and every second like I see Mustangs. I actually haven't seen a 2016 Camaro on the road yet (plenty at the dealers though)in my area which I like.

My wife pointed out to me there is a Big volume Chevy dealer not to far from us. In the front line he has 10 Camaros 3 16's and 7 2015. Her statement was if you drive by you can barely tell which is which.
Drive both and you'll know the difference!!

I have driven both, A 2016 SS last weekend. I own a 2013 ZL1, and the dealer offered me a great trade. and as I posted on another thread in the ZL1 section. The interior better, the seats better, the visibility worse. And the big thing is my ZL1 is a bigger brute than the SS, and is no replacement for ZL1. So I passed.

Okay, lets clean it up and remember to be respectful when posting.

I've deleted a few post that were not needed, next time I won't be so nice...

not suprised

dealers around me are not adding the black wheels for +$200 plus they wont switch them off another car

insurance is expensive because these things have historically been stolen like candy. dealers push lojack for an extra $799

finally they are much more expensive than the prev generation and mustang

I seriously think Chevy should have a 3ss Camaro soon

Unfortunately 3 Walmarts in my town of 60,000 people and I haven't been inside a Walmart in or close to 10 years. Target all the way.

I understand that. I thought we were talking 2015 SS to 2016 SS

That's one of the reasons we didn't buy the challenger. They are everywhere here because they are almost giving them away. That and they drive like a 2500 series pickup.
