The complete 3.91 Performance Gear Kit includes the ring and pinion, all hardware, shims, gaskets, oil additive, and instructions (included, not shown). The 3.91 gear installation requires recalibration, which is installed by a GM dealer. Application for a CARB E.O. has been made at the time of this writing.
Do you have the chevy part # for the full kit? I can only seem to find this: GM Part #22813040 which doesn't appear to have the shims/gaskets/etc...

3.91 with factory SS wheels and tires is about the same as the factory 3.70 gears in a GXP and their 19" setup. 2200rpm at 80mph or there about.

Does anyone have these gears installed on their L99?? If so how is it (since I see majority is LS3 & since 1LE's only come in manual).

thats why I had a gears shop do it. No idea if dealer really knows how to do it. Dealers replace rear ends not gears.
