Great info. I read how to open the windows with the fob but had forgotten it and I did not know that you could swipe song info to the driver display. Thanks for sharing, but next time pass on the intro, your videos are good enough without that stuff.

Wish there was a swipe right for songs you didn't like

Something useful that many dont know about it, you can move your icons around by holding them just like a tablet/smartphone.

I've been opening the trunk via the button in the back since day one.

But I do agree it is a good video. No reason not to show us stuff we might not know

Even with the chat bubble icons, they couldn't leave things alone and added the extraneous detail of having some random extra concentric circles in the middle with a bevel and fake shiny chrome border effect. (Because we all know from reading comics chat bubbles are normally encased in a thick layer of gaudy metal chrome... right? I myself naturally think of metal when I think of chat bubbles. Sure...) Why does every freaking icon have an S-shaped "reflection" effect, and thinking logically for a second, what real-world surface area shape would even create that sort of reflection? o_O For clean design, see CarPlay. /rant
I understand your point, but it's kind of fussy. I see the S-shaped reflection you're referring to, but after nearly a year of ownership and daily driving, it's taken this post calling attention to it for me to really see it.

I think it's one of those things where you need a basis for comparison to notice it at all. You would have to drive a lot of different vehicles with a wide variety of infortainment systems to pick up on something like this... you know, like someone who writes for Jalopnik and/or a few other publications and gets access to a healthy supply of M-plated media cars.

My 2011 370Z had the same features for the windows and trunk button. I accidently rolled down my windows in my 370Z on more than one occasion, due to this darn feature. I didn't like that feature at all and there was no way to disable it. Nothing like being somewhere in a store and having your car windows roll down with your backpack full of very expensive items like your Samsung tablet, new laptop, Beats headphones and a bunch of other crap, Your $400 Oakley sunglasses and a loaded gun in my console.

It's a very bad feature. i stopped carrying the FOB in my pocket and started hooking it on to my belt loop for this reason, because just sitting down with other crap in your pockets could open your windows and you don't even know it! You come out to your car at home, after it's been raining, to sit on soaking wet seats. Great idea!

It would be much better if you had to hit one button and then hold down another button, like my GM remote start on my truck.
You can disable the remote window down feature. Go to Settings->vehicle->Remote Lock, Unlock, Start->Remote Window Operation (page 149 of owner manual). Then you can put your FOB back in your pocket.

Almost all cars with FOB's have this feature.
